Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 30, 2026
1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, register to bid, or use our services, we may collect the following information:
- Name, email address, phone number, and company name
- Billing address and payment information
- Account credentials and authentication data
- Bidding activity and transaction history
- Device information, IP address, and browsing data
- Approximate location (city, state, and ZIP code) if you choose to share it through your browser. We do not store your exact position.
- Information provided through third-party sign-in services (Google, Facebook)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Process auction registrations, bids, and transactions
- Verify your identity and prevent fraud
- Communicate about auctions, invoices, and account activity
- Send marketing communications (with your consent)
- Improve our services and user experience
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Payment processors to complete transactions
- Service providers who assist in operating our platform
- Law enforcement when required by law
- Sellers, to the extent necessary to complete a transaction (buyer name and contact for pickup coordination)
4. Third-Party Authentication
We offer sign-in through Google and Facebook. When you use these services, we receive your name and email address from the provider. We do not access your social media posts, friends lists, or other private data. You can revoke access at any time through your Google or Facebook account settings.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption, secure authentication, and access controls to protect your information. Payment information is processed through PCI-compliant third-party processors and is never stored on our servers.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access and review the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time
- Withdraw consent for data processing where applicable
7. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Transaction records are retained as required by applicable tax and business regulations.
8. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate this site and understand how it is used. These fall into three categories:
- Essential cookies that keep you signed in, maintain your session, and protect against abuse. These are required for the site to function.
- Analytics cookies and identifiers that help us understand aggregate site usage and improve our services.
- Advertising cookies, including Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Google Ads conversion tracking, that measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and may be used to show you relevant ads on other platforms.
Advertising, analytics, and visitor-identification tools are loaded only on our public marketing and catalog pages. They are not loaded on admin, account, or bidder interfaces.
Location sharing. On our public pages we may ask whether you want to share your approximate location so we can show auctions and equipment near you and understand where our bidders are. This is optional. If you agree, your browser sends your position once and we immediately reduce it to your city, state, and ZIP code (about a 3-mile area). We do not store precise coordinates and we do not sell this information. You can stop sharing at any time by blocking location access for this site in your browser settings; we will not ask again for at least 180 days after you decline.
Signed-in browsing. When you are signed in to your bidder account, we link your visits to our public pages (pages viewed, lots viewed, and similar activity) to your account so our team can see which registered bidders are interested in which equipment and follow up. This applies only while you are signed in on that browser; signing out stops it. We do not sell this information.
You can manage advertising preferences through your browser settings, your Meta ad preferences, or Google's Ads Settings. California residents and other eligible users may also exercise opt-out and other privacy rights by contacting us at the same address.
9. Data Deletion
To request deletion of your data, contact us at [email protected]. We will process your request within 30 days, subject to any legal retention requirements.
